Terragen
What Is Terragen?
Terragen is a landscape/terrain generator program, somewhat like the more well-known Vistapro, but much more flexible and producing even more realistic results. Put simply, it allows you to create and edit a 'map' of a landscape, and the program then generates a picture of the result. You can add lighting effects, water effects, colours, and so on, to the basic landscape.
Terragen is still under development, and while it is being developed it is available as a free download from the main Terragen web-site.
